MOUSE Early Development Footage Sound Redesign
A full sound redesign of early gameplay footage for the 2025 video game MOUSE. Clickbait title, I know, but I couldn't resist. Probably still my favorite redesign I've ever done, hence it being one of the few I've uploaded.
Godot "Platform Shooter" Audio Reimplemtation
A reimplementation of a Godot platformer sample project in Wwise. This project taught me how to script Wwise calls more efficiently in GDScript as I spend hours trying to figure out why there was a 1 kb memory leak in the Wwise profiler whenever I shot a gun.,
"Meat Cute" (Foley Artist and Sound Editor)
I worked with the director from the very beginning to understand what the director wanted. The Foley for the meat was done with oily pasta, tomatoes, and microwaved pulled pork. I had to get the chewing scenes done right before I finished eating the pork. To increase the discomfort from the kissing and eating shots, I layered multiple takes over each other to create a slight dissonance between what’s seen and what’s heard. Something I would like to improve would be the noise removal (or lack thereof) in the kissing scene.
"The Trungo Show" (Production Sound Mixer and Sound Editor)
On the first day of shooting, I was provided a mic with an improper holder, meaning that my recordings for some scenes were of subpar quality. The next day, I brought my own microphone and holder, giving much better recordings but also increasing inconsistency of audio quality between scenes. While much of my audio was more natural than the surreal or exaggerated sounds of the previous films, I still took time when editing to have effects like panning for immersion.
